How to play every Qwiz Rush mini‑game

Qwiz Rush (sometimes written Quiz Rush) lets you drop quick mini‑games and bigger long‑form games in between your quiz questions. Pick a game to see how it plays, what the host can change, how it scores and how to win.

A Qwiz Rush night runs on one loop: the host sends a question, every player has ten seconds to answer on their own device, the answer is revealed and the leaderboard updates. The games below are the breaks you drop in between. Open the Games drawer on the host console, pick a game, and every screen in the room switches to it.

They are grouped the way the drawer groups them. Quick games need no question set. Question games are powered by the set you have loaded. Party games need at least two players, and long-form games need a set of at least 15 questions. Each guide covers what the game is, how to play it, the host settings, how scoring works, tips to win and the questions hosts ask most.

Frequently asked questions

What are Qwiz Rush mini‑games?

Short games the host drops in between quiz questions. Players take part on their own devices, and the projector or TV shows the round to the room. Quick games need no question set; question games and long-form games are powered by the set you have loaded.

Which games can I play with just one player?

Most Clicks, Reaction, Pattern Lock, Whack-a-Target, Coin Catch, Odd Owl Out, Word Scramble, Quick Math, Colour Clash, Slice and Flap all run with a single player, so you can try them before your room arrives. Party games need at least two players.

Do long‑form games need a question set?

Yes. Pizza Panic, Kaiju Smash and Tumble Rush run on your loaded question set, and the set needs at least 15 questions before the game can launch.

Do players need an app or an account?

No. Players join in the browser on their own devices with a short game code. There is nothing to install, and no login is required by default.
