What is Flap?
Flap is a one-tap flying game. You tap to stay airborne and thread your way through gaps in the obstacles. Everyone flies the same course, so it is a fair test of timing.
It is one of the mini-games built into Qwiz Rush (sometimes written Quiz Rush), the free live quiz you host from a browser while players join by code on their own devices.

How to play Flap
The host launches Flap and each device shows the course.
Tap to flap upward; let go and you fall.
Time your taps to pass through each gap.
Bonking a wall sends you back to respawn, so you keep playing.
Fly as far as you can before the round ends.
Host settings
- Launch it from the Mini-games drawer on the host console, between questions or on the leaderboard.
- Players join on their own devices, and the projector shows the round while it runs.
Scoring
- Each gap passed adds to your score.
- A crash costs time while you respawn, but you stay in the game.
Tips for Flap
- Use small, steady taps, not big jumps.
- Look ahead to the next gap, not the one you are in.
- Stay calm after a crash. Everyone flies the same course.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play Flap on Qwiz Rush?
Tap to flap upward and fly through the gaps in the obstacles. A crash respawns you, and the player who gets furthest scores highest.
Can I play Flap solo?
Yes. It runs fine with a single player, so you can try it before your room arrives.
Do I need a quiz set to play Flap?
No. It plays without a question set, so you can launch it from the host drawer at any time.
