What is Quick Math?

Quick Math is a mental maths sprint. Sums appear one after another and you answer as fast as you can. A long streak makes every sum worth more, and one wrong answer sends you back to the easy ones.

It is one of the mini-games built into Qwiz Rush (sometimes written Quiz Rush), the free live quiz you host from a browser while players join by code on their own devices.

How to play Quick Math

  1. The host launches Quick Math and each device shows the first sum.

  2. Work out the answer in your head and enter it.

  3. Correct answers extend your streak and bring harder sums.

  4. One wrong answer sends you back to the easy ones.

  5. When the clock ends, the highest scores top the board.

Host settings

  • Launch it from the Mini-games drawer on the host console, between questions or on the leaderboard.
  • Players join on their own devices, and the projector shows the round while it runs.

Scoring

  • Each correct sum scores for you.
  • The longer your streak, the more each sum pays.

Tips for Quick Math

  • Accuracy beats speed. A wrong answer resets the climb.
  • Round and adjust, for example 19 + 6 is 20 + 6 minus 1.
  • Do not stare at a hard sum. Think, answer and move on.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play Quick Math on Qwiz Rush?

Answer each sum correctly to build a streak. The longer the streak, the more each sum is worth, and a wrong answer drops you back to easier sums.

Can I play Quick Math solo?

Yes. It runs fine with a single player, so you can try it before your room arrives.

Do I need a quiz set to play Quick Math?

No. It plays without a question set, so you can launch it from the host drawer at any time.
