What is Odd Owl Out?
Odd Owl Out is a spot-the-difference game. Every owl on the board is identical except one, and you tap the odd one. A good eye matters more than a fast thumb, but speed still counts.
It is one of the mini-games built into Qwiz Rush (sometimes written Quiz Rush), the free live quiz you host from a browser while players join by code on their own devices.

How to play Odd Owl Out
The host launches Odd Owl Out and each device shows a board of owls.
Scan the board for the one owl that is different.
Tap it as quickly as you can.
Each correct spot adds more owls to your next board.
Each miss sends some owls away, which makes the next board easier.
Host settings
- Launch it from the Mini-games drawer on the host console, between questions or on the leaderboard.
- Players join on their own devices, and the projector shows the round while it runs.
Scoring
- Each correct tap adds to your score.
- Bigger boards are harder, so surviving longer pays off.
Tips for Odd Owl Out
- Scan in rows instead of jumping around.
- Look for small differences in colour, shape or pose.
- Take a breath after a miss. The next board is smaller.
