What is Coin Catch?
Coin Catch is a catching arcade game. Coins and bombs rain down while you slide a piggy bank left and right to collect the coins. It needs no question set and works as a fast energiser.
It is one of the mini-games built into Qwiz Rush (sometimes written Quiz Rush), the free live quiz you host from a browser while players join by code on their own devices.

How to play Coin Catch
The host launches Coin Catch and each device shows the vault.
Drag your finger left and right to slide the pig under the falling coins.
Catch every coin you can.
Steer clear of bombs. Taking one ends your run.
Letting a coin fall through also ends your run, so every catch counts.
Host settings
- Launch it from the Mini-games drawer on the host console, between questions or on the leaderboard.
- Players join on their own devices, and the projector shows the round while it runs.
Scoring
- Each coin caught adds to your pile.
- Coins caught in a row pay more, with bonus multipliers for long streaks.
Tips for Coin Catch
- Stay central so you can reach either side quickly.
- Plan your path between two far-apart coins before you move.
- Do not chase a coin that is next to a bomb.
