Built for a busy room
A speed quiz night suits a venue because it keeps the room moving. Questions come quickly, the whole room answers at once, and the scores land on the TV seconds later, so people stay at the table instead of queueing to hand in sheets.
No answer sheets
Every player answers on their own device. Nothing to print, hand out or collect.
A fixed 10-second pace
Every core question runs for 10 seconds, so a round has a predictable length and the room stays focused.
Up on the venue screen
Show questions and the leaderboard on the TV through the projector URL, Chromecast or smart-TV pairing. Your controls stay private.
Rounds, your way
Split the night into rounds and mix multiple choice, first-letter, number and song questions.
Fair, live scoring
A base score plus a timing bonus, graded on the server. The standings update after every question.
Mini-games between rounds
Drop in a mini-game to break up the questions. They feed the same leaderboard.
How the night runs
Build the rounds
Write your own, draft a round from a topic with AI, or pick a ready-made set from Discover.
Put it on the venue screen
Open the projector view on the TV, cast it, or pair a smart TV. The room sees the question and the countdown.
Let the room race the clock
Customers join by code, answer within 10 seconds and watch the leaderboard move after every question.
Frequently asked questions
What is a speed quiz night?
A quiz night where every question runs on a short fixed clock. On Qwiz Rush each question is 10 seconds, players answer on their own devices, and the leaderboard updates live.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. They open a browser, type the game code and choose a name. No app is needed and no account is required by default.
Is it free for a venue to run?
Hosting is free. Players join by code, though a host can require Google sign-in.
What do I need at the venue?
A laptop or other device to host from and a screen the room can see. The projector view works from a browser, or you can cast to a Chromecast or pair a smart TV.
How is this different from a classic pub quiz?
There are no paper answer sheets and every question has a ten-second clock, so the pace is quicker. See the pub quiz page for the longer-form night.
